Everyone would have had to have played an old time Mario Platforming game sometime in their lives. But, to be blantly honest, this one not of the best of that elite group. Sure, this game on it's own could have gotten a new generation of kids into Mario, but for old, returning, faithful fans, it should be a sad dissapoinment. For the dissapointing reason that I have been playing Mario for quite a while, this game came as nothing but boredom. Sure, the classic goomba-stomping levels we all know and love have been modernized, but one the best things about a Mario platforming game is the boss', the castles, the levels that people wanna kill themselves tyring to do. And honestly, this is one of the games, in which the boss', castles etc, are sorely lacking.
Rent, Pass, or Buy
It's hard in this respect, but honestly, since I bought this game, and enjoy it with many of my family members, I would have to say, despite my harsh criticism, buy this game, that is if you're surrounded by younger family members
